We welcome children from 3 to 12 years old. For toddlers under 3, we recommend waiting a little longer as their nail plates are still very delicate and sitting still can be a challenge!
Yes please! For children under 12, we ask that a parent or guardian stays in the salon throughout. It helps your little one feel settled, and you’ll be right there for the important colour decisions.
Most sessions take between 20 and 45 minutes depending on the service and whether any nail art is involved. We keep things fun and moving to hold their attention throughout.
Absolutely! We have a great range of colours, glitters, and stickers to choose from. If they have something specific in mind, just bring a photo and we’ll do our best to match it.
Yes! Just make sure to book in advance so we can seat you side by side and have enough hands on deck.
We generally advise against acrylics for children under 16. Children’s nails are still developing and are much thinner and softer than adults, making them more vulnerable to damage from the chemicals and filing involved. For a fun look without the risk, we recommend regular polish or soft gel instead.
Gel polish is more durable than regular polish, but it does involve UV or LED light exposure and removal with acetone. We only recommend gel for children aged 8 and above who can sit still and resist the urge to pick or peel, as peeling can damage the top layer of their natural nails. For younger children, regular polish is always the safest and most breathable choice.
